What is NYC?
July 1 in the summer of 2026 marks the beginning of an event called Nazarene Youth Conference. Nazarene Youth Conference (or NYC for short) is a youth conference held once every four years by the General Church of the Nazarene. NYC has been around since 1958, and the mission since it has launched has been to connect youth with God, with one another, and with our world.
This gathering immerses high school students across the nations in discipleship, worship, mission, and service experiences. It is likely one of the largest youth celebrations any of these students will encounter, as thousands upon thousands come together as one body, one family, to worship God and grow in him together. NYC is a catalytic event for uniting the past, present, and future church, and NYC is often dubbed as one of the most impactful events in the life of the whole church. Thousands of people across the world would mark NYC as the most transformational experiences of their lives. It is a place where students encounter the Holy Spirit, get right with God, and experience transformation and a shift in their spiritual trajectory.
NYC is coming fast, and the only way that we can participate in NYC is if our whole church rallies together with our students and supports them in the journey to get there. Again, NYC has time and time again proven to be a transformational event in the lives of students nationwide, but it is an expensive event. But we have seen that it has been proven to be more than a worthwhile investment.

Who can go to NYC?
Students who are entering the 9th grade through students graduating high school in 2026 are eligible to go to NYC.
How can I support students going to NYC?
Thank you for your interest in supporting our students going to NYC. There are a few ways you can support them.
- Prayer - an event like NYC is transformative in the lives of young people. Pray that God will call our students, deepen their faith, and raise up future leaders.
- Financial support - NYC is not a minor expense. Our students will be working on raising money to get to NYC all year long. If you want to support our students in this way, you can make a donation, or participate in the many fundraisers we will have throughout the year.
A lot of our students are looking for small jobs to raise money for NYC. If you have a job that you would like to hire a teen or two to help out with, fill out this form and Pastor Kaleb will reach out to you!
