Day 6
God's Blessing To You:
"May the LORD bless you and keep you, may the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the LORD turn His Face Towards you and give you peace- Numbers 6:24-26
A gift and a fruit.
Despite how hard we might try- peace is not something that we can manufacture through our own effort. Peace is a gift that God allows us to have. We spend a lot of our money and energy attempting to create peaceful environments, or we attempt to create a schedule free of chaos for ourselves. However, no matter how much we pour into creating peace for ourselves, true peace can only be given to us by God.
Peace cannot be manufactured by our efforts, peace is something we receive. If you long for feeling that still quietness or wholeness within yourself- God has the gift of peace waiting for you in His presence. As a fruit of the spirit, peace grows in you as you walk with Him. Since peace can only be given by God and grows in us through the Holy Spirit, our circumstances and chaotic lives do not have to define whether we experience His peace.
Peace is waiting for us. Allow God to walk with you and grow peace in you; receive His peace in the still and in the chaos today.
