God's Blessing To You:
May the Lord Bless You...
Do you pray because you’re conditioned to, or because you anticipate hearing from the Lord? When you pray the words, “The Lord bless you,” what are you really asking for?
As people who love God, we have the opportunity to receive His presence and share it with those around us. God desires to bless His people. In fact, He gave these very words to Moses as a blessing for them. As we mature in our relationship with God, we discover that the greatest blessing is not what He gives us, but God Himself. The One from whom all blessings flow.
This week, as you give your time and energy to bless others, don’t miss the presence of the One who first blesses you. Notice how the Lord is at work. Pay attention to the people He places in your path. Receive His blessing and then turn it loose in your community.
